In September I will provide labels for all the schools
involved, all you have to do is mail postcards from your
state to the teachers on the labels. All the teachers will
do the same, and you will receive postcards from all
over the United States.
This is a great project to get your students involved in.
No cost except for the postcards and stamps to mail
the postcards (students can bring them in!)
Here are the states we still need:
Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Maine,
Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, South Dakota,
Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming.

Regarding the Postcard Exchange, I will create labels
with every teacher's school address on it. I will mail the
labels out in September. You would put a label on
each of your postcards for your state, add a stamp and
mail all the postcards from your state. Everyone will be
doing the same thing, so we all should receive
postcards from all over the United States.

I have published one book: 7001 RESUMES, it is a job
search book and you can find it on the internet in most
book sites. I will have two more coming out soon: JUMP
START YOUR CAREER, and JUMP START YOUR COMPUTER SKILLS.
The "Career" book is for HS grads. and Adults entering the
world of work for the first time. And the computer book
is for training in the classroom. I have been developing
it for over 2 years. They are coming soon. I hope to
publish Jump start, this fall, and the computer book in
the Spring of 2003.

The computer book, I believe is better that "Future Kids"

Elmer the Eagle travels as a large stuffed animal with a
travel journal. He will have a sample set of learning
folders. You will be asked as a class to answer questions
in the journal, decorate pages in the journal to represent
your area and State. Also, your class will be featured as
the host school and class for your entire state on our web
site...so make them proud.
We look forward to receiving your information and finalize
the visit. You will receive a packet in the mail for your
students to let them know about Elmer.
