I have been thinking of becoming a preschool teacher. Do you know what the qualifications are for NH to not only teach, but become a director? I have a bachelor of arts from UNH in Communication. I received this degree in 1988, and since then have had 10 years in banking, and the past 5 years providing child care from home. Anybody know what the level of schooling I would need to do this? Thanks
Qualified individuals are needed for data entry jobs. Work from your own home, all you need is a computer with email and the internet. Process orders making $20-35/per order. Different jobs to choose from. No selling, no calls. Hours/days flexible. Full training provided. Serious inquiries only, please. Email: [email removed]

I am going to be graduating with my k-8 certification in May, and I am really stressing about not finding a job! It would not be so stressfull if I didnt have 2 children, and a husband who didnt really want me to go to school to begin with! So, now I feel like I have to prove myself by being able to find a job for next year. Does anyone have any suggestions about places to look, or even know when schools start posting openings? Thanks!
Here are some links for teacher jobs (below). Londonderry, Salem, Hudson and Nashua usually have job fairs over the next few mouths. Use high quality resume paper and send the usual documentation (cover letter, resume, transcripts, certification, three letters of reference) to every school that you think you might want to work at.
Good Luck, Dot

I am a art student in college and am looking for anything that has to do with being involved with children and their creative thinking and imagination. Please email me with any advice, or promising openings.

It is hard to say if there are very many imediate openings at this time of year but I do know for a fact that Math is a very critical shortage subject area. Here are some search sites for you to look at to see for yourself if there is an opening. -Dot
Public education in Texas is in BIG trouble! We have a politician in Austin who is from Arlington, and is the head of the education committee. His name is Kent Grusendorf anf he hates teachers! He blames teachers for his son's suicide, and has been punishing teachers since he was elected. If he gets re-elected, we will lose our continuing contracts. We'll also lose our 22-1 class cap for K-3, and our 30-minute duty-free lunch (I never knew those existed until I came to Texas!) He supports vouchers, which as we all know takes money from public education. There is a lady running against him this year who has a good chance of defeating him. Her name is Diane Patrick. Early voting for this primary election is Feb 21 - March 3, and the regular election is March 7. We have it on good authority that he plans to initiate a nasty smear campaign against her just prior to the primary. Those of us who care about our children are asking that voters who live in District 94 call, write, or email their friends and family to ask them to vote for Diane Patrick. We're even asking those dyed-in-the-wool, straight-Democrat-ticket voters to, JUST THIS ONCE, to vote in the primary, vote early, and vote for Diane Patrick. If you have friends or family in the Arlington, Texas, area please forward this email to them and ask them to help us defeat Kent Grusendorf. Thanks, and have a great rest-of-the-year!
Hello, my name is Kimberly Demont and I am in the midst of a 10th grade school project for which I am required to find out the following information:
What are the qualifications for obtaining a certificate to teach in the elementary schools of NH? What are the qualifications for teaching in NH high schools? What government unit issues each type of certificate? (Is it National? By the District? By State?) For what length of time is each type of certification valid?
I was just wondering if anyone here could help me out with these.

I was a certified teacher in Colorado before I moved to NH in '04. I now have my NH teaching certification, and am looking to get back into the classroom in the fall, teaching middle school social studies. Where can I go to find job opennings in the seacoast region?

Hello- I am currently teaching a life skills class for students with special needs and am looking for any cirriculum ideas or anyone who has a program that I may be able to visit.
In my school there is a K-5 Intensive Learning Center (multiple handicapped students). They are intergrated into the regular ed classrooms as much as possible but have a lot of life skills taught in the ILC room. If interested email me and we can discuss the program more or I can point you in the right direction. School is in Southwest NH.
