Like Wyoming, we noticed that New Hampshire has, for the moment, no state income tax, so that is a bit of a plus, but not as important as working within a school culture where we feel we could have a positive impact.
My husband is currently the director of our little charter school and is looking for an administrative position (he also served as a science coordinator for several years in a large district in Wyoming.)
I am a primary teacher with Masters in Reading and several years of teaching experience looking for a first, second, or first/second combined position.

I recently applied for an ESL teaching position with SAU #42 in Nashua. Anyone familiar with the school system and would be willing to share info, pro or con, about the SAU?

I am a 23 yr old college graduate. I am interested in becoming a substitute teacher or tutor. Any tips or advice? Do I need to be certified to be a sub? Are there any good job sites I could check out?
The best education job site in NH is EdJobsNH.com. You might also want to consider a position as a para-educator. To be a sub, you need a college degree. To be a para you need two years of college. If you are particularly gifted in math you might be able to get a title I tutoring job. If you have specific training or interest in reading you could get a title I reading position.
