I am planning to move to New Hampshire this summer and will
start looking for a job soon. I haven’t decided where yet,
but am looking at the southern and southeast regions –
specifically the areas around Nashua, Keene, Manchester,
Salem, Rochester, and Durham. I am open to other places as
well if anyone has some suggestions on where to relocate. I
am an elementary school teacher with 9 years of experience
and a Masters degree in Teaching ESL and wish to find a
classroom teaching position. What is the job market like
for teachers in NH? What is the salary like? Will I be able
to support my wife and two kids and still live in a decent
house on a teacher’s salary? Is it difficult for an
out-of-state person to get a job? I have a VA teaching
license and am currently applying for a NH license. Any
information, advice and suggestions you have to offer would
be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Steve
