Have a third grade ELL student taking NECAPs this year.
Hasn't taken ACCESS yet so needs to take NECAPS. Language
level is high verbally but struggles in writing and
reading. Does anyone know what type of accommodations your
district provides to ELL? Untimed testing? Translator?
New to Nh so don't know all the in's and out's
Thanks

Call the NH Department of Education. They can answer all
your questions about the NECAP and accommondations.

There is a list online NHDOE as well as with the test materials of common
accomadations that any child can get even if not on an IEP.

All other accomadations must be written into an IEP, but it is too late to write them
in now for the NECAPs that are already in progress.
