Hi everyone, I'm looking for middle schools in Northern New Jersey that have instituted (or attempted to institute) advisory programs. If anyone has the name of any school district that has done advisory at the middle level, or has any experience they would like to share, any info would be appreciated. Thanks! Pat
Kay, I know someone who was recently offered a job at a Catholic school, with a starting teacher's salary of about 30,000, so I project a principal's salary has got to be at least double that? ... maybe 65 or 70,000? ML

How do our school districts determine who they reappoint? And what if two non tenured Art teachers were both pink slipped in June, and one can get reappointed back. How do they determine who they take back....

I have an elem. ed. cert. in NC but have found my calling to be a one on one / assistant teacher. I used to live in NJ and was wondering how the job market was for Asst. Teachers. please let me know. Thank you!
Anyone who was pink-slipped having trouble with unemployment? I applied July 3rd and my account is still pended although they are having me claim every two weeks with the intent that I'll be credited those weeks. Already a month...just curious if any other teachers having similar issues.
My employer has a daughter attending high-school in California, and their school definitely benefits from lower prices of custom printed shirts displaying school logos, mascots, etc.
Since we are in East Brunswick, I would like to extend the benefit to the community as well. The company I work for has been screen printing since 1983, and the prices are lower than what customers would find in stores and websites because we are a supplier. Stores come to us to buy and resell products to customers.
If there's any interest, please reply. I welcome people's feedback and thoughts. Thanks for your time. Good luck with the fall school year, and thank you teachers for your valuable service to our children.
I'm still trying to get my Direct-10 ID cards since July 1st. Tried snail mail and sent emails w/o success. If you call the message is the wait is 30 minutes. I called today but that wasn't offered. Anyone call and wait? Was it successful?
