I've heard that there's a rule which blacklists teachers if they have taught at more than 2 prior schools...ie, if you have 3 or more prior schools on your resume - it becomes like a "3 strikes and you're out" thing where the teacher then finds it impossible to get another job or get called for an interiew. DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS?.....thanks
sg I've never heard of such a "rule". I think it depends more on the reasons a person left each position. I taught at 4 schools in a 6 year time span and never had a problem getting interviews; however, each job change was b/c I had moved to a different area. Ken What is the RIF policy in NJ?

As far as being blacklisted, I've heard one of the worst things you can do is get on the bad side of your principal. If looking for a new job, most schools will want your old principals evaluation of you, and if it's not good, you could get blacklisted.
