I recently completed my dossier and now hold a Level II license. Any idea how long APS takes to increase my pay? My last check was still meager Level 1 wages...Thanks. Jess

I am so excited, and proud, to say that I am a Brand Partner for SnackHealthy where our #1 Income Earner is a former schoolteacher and mother of four sons. How wonderful is that?
Debbie Stein, our Top Income Earner, was able to leave a 20-year teaching career and make 3 times her teaching income! Not only is she the #1 Income Earner at snackhealthy, she is the National Trainer and takes great personal pride in introducing teachers – and all those in the educational field – to this incredible business opportunity and show them how the skills used in teaching are perfectly suited for a successful home-based business. Debbie is a delightful trainer who does not “sell” you, but rather provides basic information to see if snackhealthy is a right fit for YOU and your family!
Snackhealthy (SNAX) is a BRAND NEW Publicly Traded Company that launched in January 2012; we focus exclusively on Healthy Delicious ‘Better for You’ snacks for the entire family. Our products are All Natural, No Sugar Added, No Preservatives and Non-GMO.
What makes snackhealthy so special – and the income possibilities enormous! – is that it’s a chance for you to get in on the GROUND FLOOR of a publicly traded company (SNAX) and be among the first Brand Partners (representatives) in your area!

Has anyone acquired an ABA certificate? How difficult was it? How many courses? Was it worth it?
Although I have experience taking and analyzing data, I might go for a certificate, not a Masters, to supplement my teacher certification (in Sped, that I have).
Now, I can make up a story? Should I? Any feedback w...See MoreI was pressured to resign mid-year due to a parental complaint about touching a student (I was rushed at the entrance, and I grabbed frantically to make order out of chaos - but then let go). No complaints were ever filed with the State. Let out of my contract. Nothing on my certificate.
Now, I can make up a story? Should I? Any feedback would be appreciated.
...See MoreI teach in NJ and have tenure. I am thinking about moving to NM, possibly to try working for APS. Do they lay people off right before tenure like some school districts do, or is it a little "less risky"? I know times are tough, but my "Other Half" and I don't really care much for NJ. Rude people, over crowded, dirty, etc.
Pay attention to the educational issues in both Florida and Texas. I urge you to do with along with the failed No Child Left Behind Act and remember that downfall of those states and failed NCLB plan were authored by our current secretary of Education, Hanna Skandera; a woman who has no degree in education nor holds any certification or teaching licenses in any state that she was in. Furthermore, she is completely backed by our governor who, again, has no educational background what so ever. As proof of their incompetence, one need only to look at the teacher evaluation system in in Florida and know that she rammed that same plan down our throats in New Mexico. 40% of my annual evaluation is now based on the performance of students on our AYP exam...an exam that my 9th graders do not take (we only test in grades 3-8, 10and 11). You should also take into consideration that teachers in my state have not had a pay raise in 5 years (this includes no cost of living allowance increases or "Step increases" for time in service). It would seem that our governor feels that we "don't deserve a raise until ALL NM students are reading, writing, and performing math at grade level." Furthermore, the unions in most of the districts are a joke, literally. The school board and superintendent of APS laugh at the Union president and the demands of the teachers. By the way, the APS Superintendant is Winston Brooks. Yes, this is the same Winston Brooks that was run out of Levenworth, Kansas for forcing science teachers to teach creationism over Evolutionary theory.
Maybe NJ isn't so bad....
