Hi! I'm a teacher relocating from the NYC public schools to
Albuquerque. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for
how to go about searching for jobs. I wouldn't be moving
until August. I have been teaching for 4 years now, and I
am certified in New York State. I have been teaching in GT
classes, dual language classes, and Special Ed. I'm working
on putting my portfolio together. Any advice? Also, any
ideas on how much I would be making? I don't really
understand the tier system.

Apply as soon as possible to the State Department of Education
to get your license. Then do the Albuquerque Public Schools
paperwork to have everything needed on file. They will
probably lose your paperwork so keep checking up on them.
