Spent most of my career with the CPS in downtown Cincy!

Great to see that this board is very active!!

i am trying to find a teacher that taught my daughter at taft elementary school in mt. auburn in cincinnati,ohio she then became an asst. princpal at herberie her name is sarah isenhart.i really want to get in touch with her. if any one knows her please have her to e-mail me than thank you.

Reading Specialist Jobs?

I see the teaching job market looks challenging in Ohio. What's the prospect for reading specialists? I am currently certified as such in GA, teach 5th grade L.A., have an Ed.S. in Reading Ed (which makes me expensive), 15 years experience (also makes me expensive), but have family in Ohio so I'd like to move there.

You are right about the expensive part but.... You will cost someone a lot and it is a factor here in OH as compared to GA because of the way education is funded. However, the reading specialist will be to your advantage. Good luck! I moved here from GA 2 years ago and still no fulltime job.

President Obama at Grandson's high school today

Visiting in Nashua,NH. The family was fortunate to receive tickets and will be present.

Granddaughter is in an accelerated class her junior year and will be sitting behind the President while he's speaking.

The family is so excited to be present.
