I see the teaching job market looks challenging in Ohio. What's the prospect for reading specialists? I am currently certified as such in GA, teach 5th grade L.A., have an Ed.S. in Reading Ed (which makes me expensive), 15 years experience (also makes me expensive), but have family in Ohio so I'd like to move there.

I hope you were able to get a job. I too have a masters in reading and a reading endorsement and a literacy specialist endorsement. Finding a position that utilizes either of these in southwest ohio has been difficult (and moving is not an option). I was able to do a few things before current administration. I know this was an old post, but I hope you were able to find something
Affection is not much good unless it is expressed.Putting an emotion into words gives it life and a reality that otherwise it doesn't have. Expressing confidence in a person's ability to accomplish something actually strengthens that ability. Arthur Gordon
