OGET are formulas provided for math problems?

Do I have to memorize all the area, circle, rectangle, cube, etc formulas for area, perimeter, diameter, radius etc? I can easily compute the problems but have difficulty remembering what the formula is. Planning on taking OGET in May.

What do you think of Union Public Schools?

I currently teach at one of the roughest schools in Tulsa. I have applied for and am being interviewed this week for a job at Union Public Schools. What do you think of them? Are they good? I went to Broken Arrow as a kid and I wonder if they are pretty much the same thing....

Middle Level/Intermediate Mathematics (025) OSAT

Can somebody please tell me what grade level someone may teach at once they've passed the Middle Level/Intermediate Mathematics (025)?

I know that Advanced Mathematics allows one to teach anything in HS - but what does the Middle Level Math test allow?

So does that mean that if I pass this test, I can teach Geometry, Algebra II and Algebra I in High School, even if I have an Elementary Ed degree?

Journalism Certificate

I live in the Tulsa area and am having trouble finding any teaching jobs (contracts) because my certificate (through the alternative placement program) is in Journalism. There really are not that many Journalism jobs available I am finding. Any advice? Go back and test out in another subject? Thanks

It is to my understanding that if you pass any of the science osats you will be certified to teach middle school science.

I am taking the English 07 OSAT May 30th 2009 6-12 grade. Can anyone give me any information regarding test content. I have the study guides, just curious what exactly to be studying. Any help is extremely appreciated. Thank you so much.

Linda I don't know if this will help, but took the Middle Grade English OSAT a few years ago. It was very little grammar and a lot of responding to literature and poetry. Good Luck.

Any input on the middle school science test? Wanting to move up from elementary. Also can you be hired by a school district and given a window to pass the test in Oklahoma or do you have to pass it before you are hired?
