I know we have PASS to cover on the subjects of Music and Computer Technology. But does your school offer a class for these subjects? I was wondering if the RTI pull-outs could occur during these subjects?????
Hi I am trying to get my Math curriculum aligned with the PASS for 3rd grade math. I heard there was a Fast Track Pacing Guide -- does anyone have a link to this or a copy you can email me? I am a new teacher and really concerned about getting behind. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I was licensed in Oklahoma in 1971 and taught one year. I was later licensed in Florida, but it has also expired. I have a Masters Degree in education. What do I do to become a substitute teacher in Oklahoma?
I finally passed my World History/Geography OSAT along with the Physical Education OSAT. Anyone know where and when to start looking for open positions?
I took test 50 and 51 for my alternative certification. I passed 51 with flying colors and missed 50 by two points. Problem is they are not going to allow alternative testing for that test again. I only missed it by two points, any suggestions or help?
Have you contacted the State Department of Education? I would try that first and discuss your situation with them. They may be able to point you in the right direction. Anytime I have contacted them with questions they have been very helpful. Don't just assume that this is a dead end. They may have anticipated this happening and have something in place to address this type of thing. Don't give up.
I'm getting alternative certification in OK. I've passed the OGET and three different OSATs. My next step in an interview with the TCRP. Can anyone tell me what to expect in the interview? Thanks.
the interview is just a formality. it was very laid back. you are one on one with someone from the panel. they just ask simple questions about what subject you want to teach and why, what your current job is, why you want to teach, etc. not a big deal.
I am thinking that after I use my sick days and personal days, I will have to start paying for a sub. A sub gets $60 a day, will I get paid what is left over? Averaged out, I make about $90 per day, so would I get paid the $30? Or will I get absolutely no pay, and still have to pay a sub?
