I have only taken it once, but also failed. I plan to take a two week course in Guatemala through Casa Xelaju. They specialize in training for teacher exams.
Do not go that far, get a bilingual professional in any of the professions here in Oklahoma City that can help you and practice won't cost you as much.
I am scheduled to take OSAT Marketing Education this Sa Saturday. The books cover teaching methods and classroom ma management. However, the CEOE Study Guide does not mention th those things. Any advice would be much appreciated... Thanks

There are about 25 reading questions, 25 math, history and art not too many.. Questions for reading are fairly easy, mostly finding main ideas, math is a joke easy as 6th grade, but they are word problems (really really easy) ... history has no war questions, science not too hard either!!!!
Can anyone recommend any good resources (Study Guides, Practice Tests)for the OSAT Bus. Ed.? I have looked at what the CEOE provides and was hoping someone may have some good supplemental resources.

The best thing would be to use any books you have from college and go over main point. Accounting and business management would be the best. I am older and hadn't done any classes on either, but I got a couple text books. The last time I did accounting was 1990. I passed the first time studying that way. Good luck.
LJHi Brandon I passed it a few years ago by pure luck. One question I remember was about paper sizes. Like A3 weird but ya might study those. Good luck
Does anyone know if there is a lot of Language Arts content on the OSAT? I know there is a lot of content from reading, but I've already prepared for most of it with my reading classes. I'm trying to decide whether or not to buy the book for my Language Arts in the Elementary School class. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
I have taken the oget once before and didnt do very well on the written area. I am taking it on the computers and didnt know if anyone had any pointers that could help.

I was asked if I was for or against that school sports should cost money!(took test end of November)
I am taking the OGET soon, very soon. I have studied, probably over studied for the test but am still feeling unprepared. I am extremely weak in the areas of history/arts. I am good on the math, with the exception of word problems. English is turning out to be a hit and miss with the practice tests.
So- my question. What is the breakdown of questions, approximately?
Is it evenly spread out between english, math, science, history/arts?
Given that my extreme weak points are history/arts would you have a suggestion on what to focus on for my studying for this subject area?
Did you get a lot of word problems? Basically- please give me some details on what the OGET was for you!
