Hello everyone! I'm wondering if I might bother you all for a bit of advice. I have a Master's in English and have been teaching freshman Composition courses for the past few years. It's just not really working out for me, so I'd like to switch to teaching highschool or middle school English; however, I'm fairly clueless about how to do this. I've looked at the different paths, and ABCTE sounds the easiest and cheapest way, but is it honestly recommended? What else should I be doing? Are English teachers even in demand? Sorry for asking so many questions, and thanks in advance for any help!
