Alternative Certificationl

I am looking to obtain certification via alternative routes I have a college degree and have worked as a TA in OKPS. Do I need to receive approval from the State or to can I just go ahead and take my exams? The website seems to direct me in several different directioms.

Nemo Take the exams. It will just help you get your cert. If you pass the OGET and the OSAT subject you want to teach then the board will have one less concern. This is the way I did it at least.

I everyone aware that the new OSAT 047 for secondary principal's has a pass rate of 41&37; across the state? This is ridiculous! How can Oklahoma keep administrators if they cannot pass the certification test?? Shame on you CEOE!
