Currently I looked up the positions that are available in Gallup. There are 67 Elementary and Secondary positions that are available. I am sure that if you would like to teach a subject that is not listed on here and you have a college education, I will probably be able to find a position for you. Currently everyone, who has emailed me, I have been able to find a teaching postion for them. I have had a 100% success rate for finding teachers jobs this summer. However, only 8 people have emailed me. Only one of them has a teaching degree. Although, all of them are extremely motivated to teach. All that it takes in order to teach in Gallup is to have a great attitude and a college degree. I have great confidence that those who are going to teach this year will make an impact in this community.
When I was young and my parents were teachers, I shook my head and did not know why they wanted to become a teacher. I just emailed a few people and I submitting a response on why I wanted to become a teacher. I swore I would never enter into that teaching field. Now, many years later, I have joined the teaching profession and swear that I will no longer join another occupation. There seems to be a great intrinsic feeling when a child grasps a concept or when you know that you have made a difference in the world. It is amazing on how fast your actions could be duplicated. A teacher works with 180 different students a year. Those 180 students interact with many more people throught a year. If the actions of what you say can make a difference in the kids that you teach immagine how a lifetime of teaching can change the world. Every one of these positions that I am listing below in this email is available. Some of these positions are listed more than once. They are listed more than once because there are more than one of the same positions available. If you know of anyone who would like to teach in that particular position, please let me know and I will email them. Please send me your address in order for me to send you an application. You can call me if you have any possible questions. You can contact me at:

I am AMI primary certified and have an MA in early childhood. Please contact for further discussion.
Spiff up the map studies and the writing assignments with our 50 States ePostcard Xchange.
Our special 50 States postcard project needs a participating class from Oregon! Actually we are a group that emails postcards (ecards). This project is open to K-8. Find your favorite ecard sight online....or.... Create your own ecard.
Test this on yourself: Find an online image of something about your state. Go to File and select: send image. An email page will pop up. Type in the send to information, subject line, and a message that contains information about your state, things students like to do in your state, favorite state foods, etc.. and sentiments that the students have. Send the email (now it's an ecard)!
When it arrives, the image will usually appear at the bottom of the email message. The picture image will still be openable as a jpeg or jpg image. Print it out, and there you have it. No postage required, no time lost scrounging around for postage or postcards.
On the other hand, you can also send postcards the old fashioned way (snail mail). Let us know your preference when you sign up. Our postcard exchange needs a participating class from Oregon!
The master mailing list goes out on 9/15 or thereabout, and you have until mid May to send out the postcards or ecards. Snail mail, email. Just state your preference.
Best wishes and hoping to hear from you OREGON, Zanada Maleki in Maine, Gr.5
I am still looking for several states to participate in a postcard exchange. I have several particiapates already, some even from other countries! HOWEVER, I have no one to represent your state!
Don't miss this great opportunity to teach geography to your students.
All you have to do is send a postcard to the other schools on the list and they all send you one!
When I get mine in, I point the places out on the map, we read the info written on the back, and discuss that state. ( And I teach Science!) Geography skills in America are really low. This is a fun way to get them interested in learning it.
