I'm currently in the United States with the intention of contact with teachers who could be interested in making an educational project for the next academic course 2011-2012, so that science students from Malaga and USA could make a collaborative work and establish a rewarding relationship, using the new technologies.
I´ve already done a science project to enable our students to meet students from another country, while working together and improve their science skills.
If you are interested, I could sent you the project and we could change it, since it´s a flexible project.
I´d like to have the opportunity, also, to visit some schools in Usa to learn about the U.S. educational system, the methodologies used, the available resources ... Would appreciate someone gives me the opportunity to make a visit to your school.

Lack of respect from students, parents, and mostly administrators.
Teaching is a second career for me. When I worked in industry, you were respected by your peers and your supervisors. Working as a teacher, I find we are treated like second class citizens. Very disturbing and often times think that this profession is horrible. But my love for working with and helping kids keeps me coming back.

This exact question was already asked on the board a few months ago. Is this some sort of stock question that teaching credential students are being assigned as a homework assignment?

Hi Dhayes,
Oregon is an incredibly interesting subject to study. Are you looking at how Europeans and Natives interect? How the communities were developed? How other cultures impacted our history?
There are ways to study Portland by studying the bridges, the underground tunnels, Rivers.
Also, noting that Oregon City was once considered for the state capital. Dr. McLoughlin's influence, etc. Let me know and we can begin from there! It really is a great subject!
Hoping to find an Oregon teacher willing to participate in our postcard exchange. Please send your name, grade, school name and address, and an email address. Looking forward to hearing from you!

They are closing schools and appx. 600 teachers laid off in this county alone! UO is hiring ELL teachers for their school but trust me you probably dont want that job!
