Once I have all 50 states plus Wash. D.C. filled, I will send out an email with a list of the participating teachers and ways to incorporate this exchange into your curriculum. Also, I will snail mail FREE LABELS to make your life easier. Please contact me now if you would like to join. I need one teacher from each state listed above. By October 1st each participating teacher will need to send a postcard to each participating teacher. Thanks for your help. Contact me if you have questions. :)
Hey everyone! I usually post on the Spanish Teachers chatboard and I just stumbled upon this one. I know this is the 11th hour but does anyone know of any Spanish positions that are still needed to be filled for this school year? My husband is planning on taking a relocation with his job (we found out yesterday) and now I have to deliver some hard news to my current job. Please let me know of any possibilities that you may know of! Thanks so much! Lori
Just got an district email from our Superintendent. Cumberland is looking for a Spanish/French teacher at the middle school level asap...401-658-1600. Peggy

I am not sure if you were able to find a Spanish teaching job, but if you are interested in substituting, we may have a possible opportunity beginning October 3 for a short, or possibly long term position teaching Spanish to 6th and 7th graders, as well as the AP course.
If you are available and interested and would like to learn more about the possibility, please feel free to call me at 401-864-3127 or to email me at: [email removed]
Thankyou and I look forward to hearing from you.

There is a site-I found it by mistake last year, but I can't remember where it was.
Google "Rhode Island Teacher Contracts" There is a site that has all the contracts in the state and all of them have salary scales.

I am certified 7-12 social studies and history in RI, and just finished middle level endorsement. Also, have 5-12 History in MA. I have been subbing every day in 2 school systems in RI, and have had no luck landing a permanent job. I would be willing to do long-term subbing, can't even find that. Does anyone know of any up coming jobs, permanent or long term sub? Thanks
