The SC law you are looking for is 59-26-40. This law's strengths are that two of the teaching "contracts" require that any teacher upon signing gives up their right to due process. A "continuing contract" supposedly does not require relinquishing the right to due process. However school districts aribitarially train teachers for the ADEPT evaluation process and these evaluations can and are aribitarially graded for preference but are ajusted for passing or failure soley on the school's princpal's bias toward a teacher. Actually teaching contracts in SC are not worth the paper they are wrtten on. Any SC teacher can be subjected to a formal evaluation by any school's principal at any time.
