I am a teacher in Augusta, Georgia (USA). Would any of you be interested in participating in an international postcard exchange OR would you be willing to host our FLAT STANLEY? Please let me know... your help would be greatly appreciated!
Jim CimMy kindergartener just got his Flat Stanley and we are looking for a 'host family'. Any takers? We live in Allentown, PA and would be happy to host yours. Thanks.
We are Australia's first and only online directory where teachers wishing to organise a teaching exchange or holiday swap can register their details. Each exchange or holiday swap is displayed as a mini "web page" complete with photo albums and relevant information. You can spend hours reading the different profiles, viewing photos and visiting links to teacher exchange and holiday swap locations all over the world. Check us out at the link below!
We are an established exchange looking for replacements for members who do not plan to return for the 2003-2004 exchange.
If you want to hear more about this first, I'd love to tell you about the exchange. We make it quick and easy. We have helpful hints. And I provide the mailing list in a labels format so you can print the labels out on stickers and quickly stick them onto your postcards.
Hi! I only need 11 classrooms to complete my postcard exchange. I need a representative from IA, NH, NE, SD, AZ, HI, SC, NM, VT, MT & WY. Most of the participants are kindergartens. If you would like to join the exchange or would like more information, please email me. I will need your name, grade taught, school name and address, email address (home and school) and school phone number. Please help me out if you can!
We are a new postcard exchange, and we need a kinder, first, or second grade class from South Dakota to participate. You will need to purchase 50-55 postcards to mail to all of the other states (and maybe a few to Canada). I am compiling all of the information, and will send all of the addresses out as soon as all of the "spots" are filled. In return, you will receive a postcard from every state, all throughout the year. This is a very exciting project! Please join us!
Teachers, If you are looking for an internet project to get involved in this year, please check this out. It will begin the first week of October and run through February. It will tie Social Studies and Science curriculum together through comparing community and weather data. I have done this project in the past, students enjoy it and they learn a great deal. Use the link to see the details, if you are interested please leave your information at the site on the 'i note! If you see that someone from your state has joined, that is okay. We can have multiple participants from the same state. If you have any further questions email me. Thanks, Terry Stoufer Project Coordinator
Just wondering if anyone ever teaching in a daycare privetely owned has ever had to sign an agreement that states that you are not allowed to compete with the business if you leave there and if you do not sign it they will fire you? I do not think this is legal and just wondering. concerned teacher
