Hi! I'm a 3rd grade teacher in New York and have been organizing a "50 States and More" postcard exchange. We have more than half the states but we still need your state.
This activity is not a lot of work and the rewards are great. I did something similar, but smaller, last year and had great success. The students loved it and a thousand 5 minute filler lessons evolved.
If you are interested in joining us, or want to hear more first, please feel free to e-mail me at [email removed].
We are looking for a classroom from Utah to participate in our 50 state postcard exchange. We will mail our picture postcards out after Christmas break. It is a one time mailing so you would send out the 50 cards (one to each state) and in turn, receive a postcard from every state. I will supply you with a set of preprinted mailing labels for convenience and accuracy. If interested, please send me an email with your name, title, and school address or sign up through my web site.
I am a 1st grade teacher from Louisiana and our Flat Stanley needs a host from Utah. If you can be a host, please email me your address. Thanks! Brandy M. ([email removed])
Looking for a couple elementary schools in Utah to particpate in a 100 participant postcard exchange. You would have to send out postcards to 100 other particpants. If you are interested, please email me your name, state and school address!
We are still in need of a few participants to complete our postcard exchange project for 2002-2003. It is a wonderful learning experience for your kids, without taking out a lot of instructional class time.If you are interested in participating in this project, please email me ASAP.
