ASPEN RANCH, a co-ed residential treatment center located
on a large ranch in Loa, Utah, just minutes from Capital
Reef National Park, is seeking a full time SPED Teacher.
Job Description: The Teacher will create lesson plans
using Utah State Core Curriculum Guidelines, teach classes,
implement classroom management techniques, and advise
students. In addition to working the academic department,
teachers are part of a multi-disciplinary team consisting
of therapists, teachers, residential staff and medical
professionals who work together to help adolescents reach
their fullest potential. Teachers will also communicate
with parents.
Qualifications: Aspen Ranch is looking for prepared
candidates who have or can obtain a Utah Secondary
Education Teaching Certificate with a SPED Endorsement.
