Our contracts are coming out soon, and I'm aiming to drag my feet a little until I hear back from some other possibilities. Does anyone know how to find out how long one can legally hold onto a contract before signing it? They typically ask for it back within a week or two, but I was recently told that the legal limit is longer than that.
PWCS teacher In Prince William you can resign up to a certain date with no repercussions. After that date (June 30, I think), it can be done but it is a bit more difficult. With the RIFs going on, I don't imagine they would hold you to your contract unless you tried to pull out at the last minute or teach something where it would be very hard to find a replacem...See More
