Teaching Jobs on Teachers.Net

What happens if you have interviewed at multiple schools and are offered a position at one before hearing from the other? Would the other still have the chance to make you an offer or are you essentially removed from the running at that point? I have been told conflicting things about this from different people.

LCPS Teacher I totally understand your wanting to give limited info. At this stage of the game, take what you can get, and yes, once you "verbally accept" a position, you're withdrawn from the rest. abc Thanks for your reply and feedback, LCPS Teacher, and I agree that there are many helpful folks on this board! Sorry to hear about those three rough years. I hope you're happy where you are now. If you cannot put in for a transfer prior to three years, does that mean you won't be involuntarily transferred either?
