I love working with 4th graders...love the age...but the STAAR test for 4th grade focuses on writing and, at my high needs school, it's a really hard grade to teach. When I taught in CA, there was only testing every other year, so 4th grade had less pressure (which may have changed since I moved).
As I start looking for teaching jobs in Virginia for a possible move, I'm just curious which grades I'd be most interested in.
