I have a bachelor's degree in early ed/special ed with a Masters degree in early Education. I have been teaching in the public schools for ten years now but my state just doesn't pay very well. Second to last in the nation and now they are trying to take our insurance as well. Thanks for any advice you can give me.
Maybe it would be worthwhile to check which states have reciprocity with yours as to certification and work specifically from that list.
Golly - know there's no state in the country that's not cutting back on insurance - there's no union in the country that's not trying to fight back on insurance. Don't move out of state looking for a dream district that isn't cutting back on insurance - it doesn't exist. With health care costs remarkably outpacing inflation for the last 25 years insurance costs rise just as remarkably. Every single employer in the country has been cutting back on insurance and for years.
