Now why it took them 8 days to figure out that this is
solely for Massachuesetts teachers is something of a
mystery to me, but that's what I was told today. It turns
out that the information at the site Dan provided:
Renewable Energy
Training Grants for Teachers
is somewhat deficient in what it provides and how it
categorizes some things (I won't bore you with the
details.) If you're not in Mass., teaching in the Mass.
school system, this is not for you.
Talking to one of the guys listed at the sites, he
referred me to:
Kidwind Project!
This group will take teachers from wherever, but all of
their workshops are in New England (VT, ME, MA). Something
to keep in mind if you're from here, or apt to be out this
way. They still have slots open for some of their
workshops this summer so if anyone's interested give it a
try.
