I’m moving to Vermont this summer and will hopefully be
able to find an elementary teaching job. What is the best
way to get into the system? Are there job fairs in the
area? Is it better to send my resume/cover letter to
individual principals or just send it to the district
office? When do schools begin hiring or start offering new
contracts? Is it possible to find a job before the summer
vacation?

I’m focusing on the Burlington area (within an hour drive
b/c I'd like to go back to school) but would also consider
other places as well, as long as I can find a job.
