Teaching Moment Nothing....absolutely nothing. Let's do something real for a change that will really make a difference. Honor our veterans and give our children a true appreciation of the sacrifices of the past which preserve and protect our rights in the present.

maple woods Well stated!! My feelings exactly. The 'Touchy Feelies' are out in full force. Peace doesnt come but at a price. Honoring our Veterans and emphasizing the sacrifices they made and what that translated into for America and the world has to be our priority. Donna Stevens I don't know exactly how this works, but will try a response. I am disturbed that teachers (I assume that teachers wrote on this chat subject) can appear so uncaring about the concept of peace. Yes we must and should honor our veterans, my grandson did 4 rounds of service in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Bosnia. I supported him. I support working and hono...See More
