I am trying to locate Chris Holderman that use to teach/coach at Rainier High School. If you know him..have him send me an email. He is a friend that I have lost contact with...thanks
I know the economy is crappy and the state is cutting back so I am also interested in what those areas pay for subs, should I need to go that route. Again, any info much appreciated.
LisaNot sure about Grant but I live in Clark county and I find work daily. I am near Portland. We get 122.00 a day. My school gives a raise after 30 days though so I am getting 132 a day.
I currently have a California credential for the HS level. I trained to teach English, but then added PE, Health, and French through passing the CSET exams. However, when I looked up how to transfer my certificate to WA it mentioned the Pathways program and it seems that I would have to take additional coursework and do more student teaching to qualify in all of my areas. Is this correct? That would take a lot of time and money. Thanks for any information.
Hello John, While my situation is different(BA in Elem. Ed earned 2009, yet to teach, currently looking to get certified in WA), I will say the information online can be difficult to understand as the terminology varies from state to state. After e-mailing and calling the certification office, I was able to clarify the requirements, which turned out to be MUCH simpler than how I had interpreted them from the website. I highly suggest e-mailing [email removed]!
PS - I just realized you posted a couple of months ago, so I imagine your questions have been answered by now, but maybe the info above can help someone else. =)
The Willapa Valley School District is seeking a certificated math teacher. Please see our website for details. We are located in Menlo, Washington. [link removed]

I am so excited, and proud, to say that I am a Brand Partner for SnackHealthy where our #1 Income Earner is a former schoolteacher and mother of four sons. How wonderful is that?
Debbie Stein, our Top Income Earner, was able to leave a 20-year teaching career and make 3 times her teaching income! Not only is she the #1 Income Earner at snackhealthy, she is the National Trainer and takes great personal pride in introducing teachers – and all those in the educational field – to this incredible business opportunity and show them how the skills used in teaching are perfectly suited for a successful home-based business. Debbie is a delightful trainer who does not “sell” you, but rather provides basic information to see if snackhealthy is a right fit for YOU and your family!
Snackhealthy (SNAX) is a BRAND NEW Publicly Traded Company that launched in January 2012; we focus exclusively on Healthy Delicious ‘Better for You’ snacks for the entire family. Our products are All Natural, No Sugar Added, No Preservatives and Non-GMO.

I wish I had some ideas for you, I have never really struggled passing test except took the RICA in California twice but it was quite challenging. I too am struggling with these test. It took me two tries for the WEST E Subtest 2 and I'm going on my third for the Subtest 1!! I feel there isn't enough time and it drives me crazy on how this test is structured and not at all like the practice book XAM. I have also found error in this practice book. Very frustrated, since I have a CA credential but need to get the WA credential now and would love to just be teaching....
Looking for a 5th grade pen pal class. We are located in Weston, Florida, which is just west of Ft. Lauderdale. I will have 22-25 gifted students. We could be exchanging snail mail, emails, sharing projects. It's a lot of fun and the students love the experience. Please let me know if interested.
