Join an active group of teachers, environmental educators
and researchers to survey modern teaching methods in
environmental education that integrate teaching and
assessment strategies using the environment as a theme.
Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge in Cheney, WA near
Spokane will provide a rich setting for this summer
professional development opportunity. Participants will
organize activities to create engaging experiences for K-12
projects that focus around the arts, systems, inquiry and
civic participation in relation to their local environment.
Each person receives Project Learning Tree, Project WILD,
Aquatic WILD and WILD about Elk Activity Guides.
