What types of teachers are most in demand in Washington and
Oregon right now?
Like many people here, I would like to move to the Pacific
Northwest. I am currently in graduate school in North
Carolina and am getting a M.A. in Teaching (Secondary School
English.) I'm also studying Spanish and Russian so that I
can obtain an ESL endorsement. I'd love to teach English,
of course, but can also teach drama, business (I have some
courses towards an MBA), social studies, and screenwriting
(one of my undergrad majors.)
Any advice is welcome.
