Hi,

I have a 7th grader in the self contained classroom. He is
intelligent. With learning disabilities, processes slow,
writing is laborious and hard. We've discussed having an
untimed test, a scribe, quiet one on one testing, breaks
etc in his IEP. He had the test in elementary, he refused
to do it, so there was no score. He's already complained
about taking this one.

Is this fair to him? I feel like I'm setting him up for
failure.

Would you opt out? Or go ahead and let him take the test?
I'll be asking his teacher this as well. Would appreciate
your thoughts on this.

Thanks LC
