I just wanted to let some of the people that are currently
out of the Spokane area and want to come back here. When
you apply this year put down a local address here, like a
cousin's or brother's address in Spokane County. You may
be qualified and have all these amazing endorsements but
the schools usually dismiss the out-of-state applicants
because there are SO many teacher that ARE in the area
looking for the same jobs. Be sure that you can fly up
for an interview.

Also, there are at least three colleges in Spokane
continually churning out teachers. Very, very competitive
job market!
There are a couple of new private schools, Southside
Christian (K to 9) and Cornerstone Christian (K-12). Also
