I have been looking for full-time work around So Cal for almost two years. With the economy, teacher layoffs, and declining enrollment, it's hard to find anything in CA. I have found work as a sub, but I would like full time work. I have a ton of years experience as a sub in all grade levels K-8 (including special ed). I subbed when I was completing my preliminary credential. I have passed all the required tests, including the CBEST. According to CA, I am highly qualified. I am thinking now about going out of state. I have relatives that live in King County, so, I thought I'd test the waters there. King County is OK, but anywhere in western WA is OK, too.

I will have my Professional Clear Credential by the end of the year. I am authorized to teach ELL (In fact I have been in Newcomers classrooms on several occasions). I am trained in the Read 180 reading intervention program.
