Sub to full-time questions

Hi, I'm a sub in Washington. Svsd snoqualmie valley. I have a few general questions. Do I need to be in a sub pool to apply to a position? If not, how difficult is it to get an interview or position if you are not in the sub pool? Also, I'm a certified teacher with several years experience subbing, two short term-leave replacements as well as three years experience teaching primary on the southend. Can I get some general feedback on what I may be up against as far as getting a posiot in lwsd, Issaquah or Svsd? I'm looking for 2014-14. Thank you.
