I'm new to the Kenosha/Rachine/Milwaukee area and having a terrible time finding a job. I have a BA in Spanish and an MA in ESL. I do NOT have an education degree and do not want to get one. I've taught at a private school in IN and in a university. I enjoy teaching and would like a full or part time position for just a year or two years. I see all kinds of positions, but everything requires licensing Any way around it?
I´m currently studying spanish and looking for a tudor. Please let me know if you´d be interested.

Help! I have a new student from the Ukraine who speaks a little English, but more than his parents. Where can I find an ESL teacher for him in the Milwaukee area. I work at a small Catholic school. He is getting so frustrated and defiant refusing to do work!! Parents just smile at me when i try to bring this up. He will never survive in middle school next year. Any suggestions?
Call DPI they should have a list of interpators (sp?)to help you with the parents and other suggestions to help with the student.
You might want to also check with WI FACETS or Family Ties. They work with primarily with public schools but should be able to help you find some resources.
