My mom is a Reading Specialist and our state is thinking
of eliminating all of the Reading Specialists positions in
the ENTIRE state. They are going to sign the bill Jan
13!! We need to stop this. They are eliminating
firemen, policemen, other teachers, and now this. What
next? What's going to happen to our kids and our safety?
And people wonder why our schools are failing?
You can write a letter to the following people if you
agree that this position should not be eliminated:

My mom went to school for her masters degree to become a
Reading Specialist and now it seems like such a waste,
it's really sad. All of those thousands of dollars spent
on an Education for what? How can they eliminate a
position that is being taught in college? What is going
to happen to the people of tomorrow? Will reading not be
