I'm wondering how what the chances are of finding a
position as an English teacher in Wisconsin, anywhere in
Wisconsin. The position doesn't need to be near Madison or
Milwaukee. I love the state, the weather, the attitude and
the culture of the state and I want to call it home. I'll
have my BA in English this next Spring. I have no idea if
Oklahoma teaching standards transfer or if I'll need to get
Wisconsin certification. I don't know if Wisconsin will
assist with loan forgiveness. I really don't care.

I want cheese curds and brats, snow and rain and a school
system that supports students and teachers alike. Oklahoma
is not very interested in quality secondary school
teachers.

I think you can get a temporary 2 year failt easily. I know
WI and 31 other states have something worked out. Not sure
if OK is one of those states. First action plan....get
licensed and then apply. That way when they ask you can
say...I have a certificate.
