The Manchins are bullies Doubt she was experienced or respected. He's given his family high- paying jobs and free degrees. What would stop him from doing ANYTHING illegal, immoral, or unjustifiable?

They are a sham, and I wish the rest of WV had the sense to see it.

I'm this year and my husband and I will be leaving this state after 25 years. We raised our children here and have many, many fond memories and friends from our years spent here. So a part of me will always consider West Virginia to be home.

I am pained to have witnessed the turmoil that has beseeched education in West Virginia over the last two years. It is amazing to me that, for some unknown reason, there is such little respect for educators in this state. Thinking back over my career as a teacher, I cannot ever remember a bleaker time to be in the business of education. What's worse, it appears that we have a Governor who has sought to instill rage and disdain among the public, in order to make our jobs more difficult.

In the real world, this would be considered "inciting a riot" and there are laws against this kind of behavior. What is wrong with a governor who publicly berates the educators of his entire state? I will probably never figure this out.

I can only say that I wish all my friends, who will continue to live and pay taxes in West Virginia, a happy and healthy life. I hope to hear in the next few years that our state has turned itself around. I will pray for the many hardworking individuals that make this beautiful state a place that we will return to visit from time to time. I will also pray that your governor spends some time reflecting on the damage that he has caused by his actions.

Finally, West Virginia has some of the most dedicated teachers that I have ever known. Demand more from your politicians, from your boards of educations, and take control of your curriculum once again. You're the BEST!
