Our Special Education people at the BOE office insist on scheduling IEP related meetings on our planning periods. I believe that new legislation was just passed stating that it was illegal to do this. Does anyone know for sure if they are allowed to do this? The meetings ran into my lunch also. And the darnedest thing was that they hired a sub to cover my classes when I didn't even have any students during those two times. Ridicules!
