Sur-prise!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Berkeley County School principals are still hiring unlicensed teachers to work in their schools even with the glut of qualified teachers available. Forget that nasty teaching license and PRAXIS scores, just go to church with the principal and you have an automatic teaching career in WV!!!

Name names To Slizer, what school and what principal?? You can't be unlicensed and teach. Maybe not certified in a particular content area, but certainly not licensed. Please let us know.

youknow You can have year long sub positions without being licensed. As long as you have a four year college degree. Doesn't matter what the field is.

NoWay A county cannot sub positions for long terms if they have certified applicants for the position.

? They can if the person hired for that position is not allowed to start until next year because of the WV law of being hired 5 days prior to the start of school.
