The Well Aware Diversity Taskforce in Laramie is working
with the Wyoming Department of Education and UW
Conferences & Events to organize a Multicultural Symposium
for Wyoming's K-12 teachers to be on June 23-25 at the
Casper Events Center. Workshops will include discussions
on Student Oriented Teaching Methods, Culturally Sensitive
and Responsive Teaching, Alternatives for At-Risk Youth,
and No Child Left Behind. The conference will be PTSB and
Enrichment accredited. Our goal is to offer teacher
practical applications that have been proven effective in
culturally diverse classrooms. Please write for more
information. Registration begins at the end of March.
