According to the great collision theory, our Proto - earth was circling the sun about 4.5 billion years ago and sharing its orbit with a sister planet called PHEAA. As fate would have it, the influence of other nearby planets eventually through the sister planet off it's stable course, and careening into Gaia paren the name of our Proto earth). The impact had many consequential results, including the eventual creation of one or two satellites which in time collided themselves and formed our moon.
Additionally, the Proto planet that hit us, gave several important gifts which profoundly affected biogenesis on earth. Specifically, bringing great amounts of water to our planet, and changing the composition of our core, which could have sustained the. Our core is liquid and thus throws magnetic fields, which beneficially protects earth from solar wins, the type which stripped Mars of its atmosphere.
All of these random occurrence is combined to create this amazing nursery that resulted in our species all these billions of years later.
So what do you think? Are science teachers teaching this theory in class these days? Blow your mind like mine?
Hello! I am new to the group. I need help! Any study materials for the GK Math, Reading, and ELS would be helpful. I took the tests this pass weekend and failed.Thank you in advance!
For reading I took it January 6 and the passages I had was Food Additives, EADS, Day of the dead, Barefoot, something about paper can't remember the title.
I don't like math for nothing in the world but took it to see how I would do.
Can anyone give me advice or study materials that has helped them pass. I have to make sure GK is taken and passed before my temp. certificate expires. I'm not trying to wait to the last minute especially if I'm struggling with testing. Thanks in advance!
ARSCongrats and kudos to you Britt! I am taking it next weekend. Did the Navaed reading course help you? Would you mind sending me the topics of the passages please?
1/27 meaning two month more to be underpaid, because I still working in the same position as a teacher but just earning as a substitude. I lost $6,000 at this point in my earning for this test. Please share you post!!!!!!!! I had the essay that somebody posted.
YoyoMimi, if you get terminated for not completing GK, you need to wait for a year and then you can apply for another temporary certification. However, go the school district and ask over there for the certification department, so you can get all the information you need.
