I am a teacher in California where tattoos are more mainstream, however I am moving to Tennessee where I know it's more conservative. My question is will I be able to find a job with a tattoo on my forearm(it's my only visible tattoo).
It's nothing distasteful it's just a small tattoo of a Dodger hat.
J/K. No personal experience with Tennessee but in general it will vary quite a bit by District, school, principal, etc. My guess is that these days, a small visible tattoo that is only moderately distasteful (ha ha) will put off only the most conservative of people, so you would likely be fine with most potential employers.
