House cleaning this morning and went through my yarn stash. Found several projects I need to get back to. LOL
My DS is leaving Monday, so I will be back at DM's. One more day to finish up some chores, I need to take care of.
5,683 steps, so far. Carry on....

The battery operated tea lights inside plastic Easter eggs and decorated like lightning bugs were one of those adorable ideas that aren't quite easy enough for age 5 and 7. The beauty of that age is that they aren't perfectionists. They were quite happy and loved taking them in the dark bathroom to see them light up.

Twas a perfect day for a long walk after my shorter every-day walk and talk. and another later time with another friend. No sweatshirt needed. 16338 steps-- banking some for a rainy week-end. Things are "back to normal," as DGD says.
I even got my hands dirty. Two short rows of kale are planted. The garden is raked. :)
judycaret Good for you, Elaine, that's a LOT of steps!
I didn't even wear my Fitbit because I went shopping with a friend all day. Big lunch AND bigger gelato. Honest and true, I gained 2 lbs in one day. Back to the grind today.
Elaine, there is nothing more inviting to be outside on a warm spring day filled with the budding beauty of botany! I saw my first of the season here yesterday - forsythia and this morning - deep purple hyacinths. Lovely.
No official exercise class until Tuesday. They have been scheduling me up to 8 1/2 hour shifts on my four day part time retail job. Yesterday I worked on a very detailed and heavy job that left me physically exhausted. When I leave a cycling class I am energized, ready to take on the world. I think my managers are trying to get the most out of me before I officially retire. I am very good at organizing and details. Evidently those along with a strong work ethic are not common qualities found in a lot of employees anymore.
Keep movin!

Excited about warmer temps on the way by the weekend. The daffodils are seeing the results of the cold snap so I hope the tulips don't have to face the same challenges.
I attended a parent workshop last night at our middle grandchild's school that was excellent. It was put on by the state police on internet safety. OMG, it's scarier then I was imagining. I am going to join the parent group hoping to have the kids' version put at school. Very valuable information provided. Lots of naive parents in attendance. Do all states offer such programs I wonder?
Bev, busy day for you. Sorry that it had to include a funeral.
Judy, solitude is way under-rated. Even in exercise.
I didn't quite break 10K today: 9413. When I walk in the library, we don't get as many steps in. I did my usual 30 minutes and two extra mini-walks. My pedometer still didn't add up.
