Whew--worn out, but a satisfying, feeling-accomplished kind of worn out.

Only a hike today. Dog was a sleepyhead this morning, so I decided to let him have a day off and concentrate on myself today. Included some steeper hills, did some uphill backwards walking, and two slow running (jog?) sessions of about a 3/4-mile each. Only negative today was a blister on top of one of my toes. I think the socks I wore are to blame. Wrong kind to wear when sweatin'!

18,521 steps. Out on the trail for 2 hours and 40 minutes. Feeling motivated, for once.

Check in, everyone!
judycaret Wowza, steps, that is some serious steppin'.

Only 7,000 steps for me today. Too hard to do a lot when it's sprinkling.

I was thinking about the much-needed rain we've had in California. Yay! Then I thought that, if I hadn't retired in June, I probably would have done 357 indoor yard duties by now. Double yay!

frozen my butt off if I had walked 160 min like you did
today. We had a high of 9 degrees with a 13 below wind
chill. I walked 70 min for a total of 9261 steps. We're
traveling to both DS and DD homes this weekend so I can do
my annual Gingerbread Men baking with the grandkids, ...See More

men It's great to see the ROLL CALL in action at such a busy time of year when taking care of oneself often takes the backseat due to doing for others.

I have not done any "official" exercising this week, nor next, because, hey I work retail! With extended hours expected, I am at work very early and later then usual. Family needs, li...See More
