Got into my twice a week routine this AM with spinning class. We had a sub instructor I hadn't had before so it was a nice change. One wouldn't think the instructor could change the experience that much yet still get a good work out. Today there were two nine minute stretches of just endurance. I ended up putting in 17 miles for the hour.

I am making friends in the class and everyone is so supportive and helpful. There were 3 of us wearing our new spinning shoes but I am the only one new to wearing them. I did better at getting them off the pedals but I still needed guidance on getting them attached. I did better this time so it's getting into my muscular memory

I've enjoyed lurking and seeing what everyone's been up to. Haven't we been doing the roll call for over a year now and it's still going?

judycaret Good job, everyone! Please tell me we've had this group a lot longer than a year!

I walked about 6,000 steps this morning then gave up when it started raining. Yay! Rain in California! Yay!

Elaine/ret/IN How long? I have been writing my weight down since January, 2009. I started writing my steps down in February, 2014. I'm guessing that's when Steps started this group. Maybe she can weigh in (ha ha!) and tell us.

Elaine P.S. I know. I know. You're not supposed to weigh every day. And, writing it down is beyond the pale.

men Elaine, I bet steps did start the roll call in 2014 or
2015 at the latest. I was still going to Curves when I
first started posting and ours closed in June 2015. I
joined the current gym in August 2015. Time flies when we
are having fun!

JRod @ steps I completely understand how you feel. I, too, seemed to have lost that spark for exercise. I still log my food (1450 days), but am not as diligent with logging EVERYTHING i eat. I forget to add the little things and I know that they affect my lack of progress.
