Do you see any issues with this relationship based on age, relative to the fact that the other party is closer in age to my students (maybe a few years separation) than he is to me?
I've had mixed opinions, but I like this as a more anonymous venue.
I'm not looking for a lecture or opinions on dating younger people per se, e.g., issues with maturity, etc. I'm just wondering if a high school teacher raises eyebrows for being in a relationship with someone only a few years removed from the students he's teaching, or whether or not it's none of anybody's business and shouldn't be a moral issue?

It was nice to get some different perspectives here, even though they were varied. I do appreciate the responses. That's why I posted, I thought it would be beneficial to hear from some other fellow teaching professionals, who are not co-workers, in a different venue such as t-net.
