Today was my first workout with my trainer. I DIDN'T die!!!

We started with a five minute warm up on the treadmill. We then moved to one of the studio spaces for the first part of the workout. She had me push a 25 lbs weight plate on a towel across the floor from one end to the other. Not a graceful pose! Then I did 20 standing against a bar push ups. She had me do one rep with hands shoulder width apart for triceps and one rep with hands wider for the chest. From there she had me do 10 slide side lunges on each leg. The last exercise in the rotation was a 5 lbs dumbbell front raise into a lat raise back down to front of body (made a kind of heart shape). I did this circuit 3 times. My least favorite one was the weight pushing!

She then took my out on the floor and did another circuit. I started with 15 overhead throws (10 lbs ball against tilted trampoline). I ended up with a broken nail! After that, she had me hold a bosu (half fitness ball on a base) and do ten sq...See More
ron/nj had a darn head cold for almost a week but was able to start walking again today. I did lose some stamina as I feel a bit tired tonight.

judycaret Arg, first post went to FBI.

Walked 9,900 boring steps back and forth in shopping center to avoid rain. Didn't check the total until I'd removed my Fitbit or I would have jogged in place.

JRod, you make me feel inadequate. Wow!

I'm maintaining just below goal weight.

men No official exercise today for me other then walking the granddaughter to school this morning in a light rain She had to walk through every puddle along the way carrying her little groggy umbrella. I carried home both umbrellas and her boots - awkward to do. I did do a lot of walking @ work though.
